Today, I made some terrariums. It is something I first wanted to do
The largest one (above) will come to sit beside me at work.
Rains finally let up, to allow working outside.
Since I could not find the precise mini-plants most suitable for terrariums, these may not last. But, I'll keep the lids off, see how they do, and replace as needed.
It felt good to finally make something! This one (above) is "sedum makinoi ogon" but to me it looks like little clovers, appropriate for St. Patrick's Day just around the corner.
Nearby, the bees were all a-buzz at the red bud tree.
gorgeous! i love the greenness of it. a dash of outdoors.
ReplyDeleteHappy to hear you got to unleash the creative urge on something : ) I've often thought about messing around with miniature plant life myself, specifically bonsai trees.
ReplyDeleteMan, I never imagined when I first got back into my artwork a year or so ago that it would become something less like a want and more like an imperative! I think I'm starting to emerge from my winter sulk enough that I might draw or paint something soon.
These are awesome Gina.
ReplyDeleteThanks, everyone for your comments and encouragement.
ReplyDeleteGood for you getting back into your art, Vincent. Hope it is contagious!
