This is the new art journal I made to explore my current fascination with just 4 colors. I cut a small 9” x 12” painting on watercolor paper to fit as the covers. It feels wonderful since I mixed some gesso into the paint. It feels rough and I love how it turned out.

Wanting to try Stonehenge paper and using canvas boards as covers, this sewn-over-tapes journal has both. Loved how the tapes don’t show and distract from the covers, something I only thought of a few days before I bound and sewed and glued it together.
