Autumn Leaves

'Tis fall and seems only natural to collect leaves on the ground and roll them into acrylic paint. All are 9" x 12" on cold-press watercolor paper.

  2. A friend sent me a link to this page to see your leaf prints, as I love working with leaves. I'm not familiar with this technique, but I love these prints!

P.S. I'm a retired accountant who now works in my studio fulltime.

  4. Thank you for your comment on my blog! I do highly recommend LK's classes. I love your leaf paintings, and your photos of downtown architecture! I was in San Antonio for a few hours a year ago, and took lots of photos of architecture details in the downtown.

I would love to visit the city for a longer time someday!

  5. Thanks, Manon. Nature is so inspiring to me.

Hi Karen. The technique I use is to roll out acrylics and press leaves into watercolor paper. It’s fun!

So many paint colors, so little space on the paper, Chris!

Solange, your colors on your digital manipulations are gorgeous, too!

Hi Gwen. Although San Antonio has never managed to charm me or move my soul, enough people love it to make it the 7th largest city. When next you visit again, try to avoid the heat and humidity of the summer!
